Swimwear? Wait... what about my hair?

Typically, if I have a little extra money, swimwear would be the absolute last thing i'd spend it on. Well aside from Crocs, Adidas Velcro sandals, or anything of that nature... but I digress. So, I stumbled upon(both noun and verb tense of the word) these photos, featuring a beautiful collection of vintage inspired swimwear. The effortless elegance emanating from the photos drew me in, which then proceeded to push me in the pool.

I took my dress to the clothing hospital or as most call it, the dry cleaners. Even they couldn't repair the chlorine damage! But as I stood there with my discolored dress it all became clear. This is the year I am finally going to get a bathing suit like one of these. Thus I won't have to compromise my personal style. Now, lets see who pushes who in the pool. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, i'll have something cute and water proof to wear.

Lu Flux Spring/Summer 2012

Garland blouse, Ascot skirt
Lu Flux's Spring Summer 2012, A-Lu-Ha, brings Hawaiian fantasy to life with a mixture of bright pastels, vintage materials and flawless patchwork. I guess home-ec class finally came in handy. Lu Flux has a noteworthy unconventional couture esthetic. I have been a fan of this eccentric British label for a while now, and this collection is the most wearable of them all...

Yoyo dress
Voodoo jacket, Grass skirt
Rum Punch bustier, Hula Hoop skirt
Rum Punch bustier, Puff bolero, Swizzle skirt
