After working with Lanvin, Zac Posen and Johnny Loves Rosie, Camille Roman decided it was time to do her own thing-by launching her own range of luxury accessories. Tour de Force "believes in offering feminine and flattering designs by creating innovative sculptural forms using luxurious fabrics and intricate detail" Not only is Camille innovative, and creative-she's also extremely nice! All the more reason to but her accessories! I can't wait to see what she comes up with next! visit her site at http://www.letourdeforce.com/

The 15-year-old newly signed IMG model, or more commonly know as Jenny Humprey on Gossip Girl,[Taylor Momsen] has an awesome high fashion spread in Crash magazines October Issue. Personally I love it, the avant-garde ensembles, and her darkened eyebrows-I think she looks great! photo cred: fabsugar

granted they were one and a half inches tops (Renee from fashionfillers is probably laughing no one can rock 5 inch heels like she can) but still I WORE HEELS TO SCHOOL! teachers barely do i my school let alone the students who wear sweatpants and uggs everyday. xo sweater and shoes: local thrift store top: urban jeans: forever
So basically I'm in love, Samantha Pleet is a designer after my heart. Unlike the big designers heading straight towards target, and H&M; Samantha Pleet is collaborting with none other then Urban Outfitters! The line is entiled Rapscallion, the color palette is darker, the materials are less silky, but the combination between "cupie doll and coquette Pleet brings to every collection is there in spades".
It comes to no surprise when MTV announced their new reality series (which is basically a spin off of project runway). They are casting a new fashion design reality show, but will obviously be more focus on drama, being as its MTV of course. However, they are looking for more than just a seamstress. Designers, graphic artists, painters, and anyone who is artistically gifted are being asked to send over an email to email@example.com.\

Theres been alot of awesome collaborations lately, hasnt there? Well, heres another... Stockholm-based ACNE and Lanvin team up to create a collection full of sophistication and style. The collection includes tuxedo jackets, shirt dresses, bags, and a belted trench.
The sales apperal firm for Bill Blass New York has stopped taking orders :( Ever since Peter Som (one of my favorites!) left the couture division things haven't been looking to hot for Bill Blass; Industry sources speculate a trunk-show. Hopefully they can bounce back...

Agatha Lamber was kind enough to inform me of this beautify crafted high end line. Mont Charles de Monaco is a Monte Carlo based high luxury fashion brand specialized in handbags. All of the collections are unique limited edition pieces (numbered on the plate) and entirely handmade in a 100 year’s old Atelier. Designs appeal to the most feminine of women - elegant, desirable, and self-confident. Women who understand that such an investment is timeless, and will never go out of fashion. (^click to enlarge^)

Bona Drag means "nice outfit" a term came about in London during the 60's, and was used mostly by gay culture. The phrase was introduced to Heather Rose Wojner (creator of bonadrag.com) by Morrissey. I find that so creative and interesting! This website is amazing, featuring select vintage pieces to hard to find and independent designers. It's great because you can always count on it having amazing pieces that you can't find in stores...I just love it! www.bonadrag.com check it out!

Jeremy Scott and Australian label Ksubi come together thus making Scotts fifth collaboration, and they just get better and better! Scott states "The collection is inspired by the French Revolution and is parallel to today's social, economic and political climate, hence I titled the show 'Let Them Eat Gas!' ".
