Karl Lagerfed pre-fall

Karl Lagerfeld debuted the house's Métiers d'Art pre-fall collection over a two-day round of cocktails, dinners, and partying. Prior to the runway show was a 10-minute silent film about Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel early years. The Russian-themed satellite collection included tweed,(of course) sailor stripes, cashmere knits, and jewels. The looks were brought up-to-date with sky-high beehive hair styles ( a la Amy Winehouse) and coats and coats of eyeliner. Basically, it was a spectacularly glamours and amazingly beautiful event. here are some still frames from the silent film: photo cred: Vivre Mag some favorites from the collection: photo cred: style.com
